It could be a pleasure to shop but to deal with retail, it could turn into a psychological disaster for the employees who can't stand the facade of perfection and eternal happiness.

Working in retail, offers a wide variety of different perspectives about humanity and how the marketing efforts work properly in order to boost a product, much of the time the directors and managers they don't care about the personal well being of their employees because, they see their employees as tools to get their quarterly bonus.

As a society that we are, focused on Market Economy, we had stepped down towards common-law values, as all men are equal and money doesn't buy class and style. On a psychological level, one aspect of the function of these kind of business are aimed towards to keep the status-quo as much as they can towards the employees, it is as they use a cult of personality style  to the founder of the company.

The interpersonal relationship between the company and employees can be quite complex, but not difficult to analyze; imagine;i.e, a bee hive, where everyone has their own defined roles, and they will be stuck on their roles until they die. Of course; if we take this approach into the Descartesian philosophy, not everyone will see their reality as the maximum paradise, some individuals will try to step out and see that the world is quite different as the managers let them see, that in reality some will have the potential to create a difference.

Think of Neo and Morpheus with the pop culture argument of the red pill and the blue pill, one of them will wake you up from the dream but the other will let you stay in the fantasy. Probably, it goes towards professional aspirations, some people are like the worker bees we need them, "we need them in order to have our sandwich or Big Macs" as my cousin Alexandra says, but we can't make them feel less, because they are still people, even if sometimes their managers don't understand that.

Towards education; much of the corporations in America, aren't keen that their employees move forward pursuing a different method beyond the ones taught by the company; they will end up ridiculing any member that doesn't fit into their objectives and goals when he or she decides to pursue a different path. Is not profitable for the company, as they lose money every time an associate decides to move on as facing discrimination or because they got bored.

Misanthropy as well certain sociopath tendencies could be developed by even the most sanest of the individuals, after being exposed to be happy whenever they are not; is not professionalism, any man or woman if they are having issues are entitled to grief them. They need to separate their lives, but they are entitled to be human and don't fake anything without losing money.

Go and watch in between the aisles, go as a customer and walk the different sections, beyond the smiles you can see through their kinesis that they are having some form of mild depression; is not about money, because if there is no security and the ability to move on, then there is nothing.

A postulate in economical theory, that revolves around psychology that if the company is owned by their employees, their employees will be happy because of the dividends. Money can create an ephemeral difference when the organizational environment. There are other points towards working on retail that you can see this theory, by observing the managers of the store, whenever an upper level supervisor will arrive, by attacking the lower level employees. All of this, due the status-quo and the inability of the managers to handle stress to the pressure of being uneducated, and being thrown into the outside world without any form of academic support, a valid academic support.

You can see the worse of people inside a supermarket not even on a shopping mall; a simple trip can be used to study the sociological aspect of consumers; a simple trip you can see how much people decide to throw the anger to the employees, and the employees not receiving any form of protection in order to satisfy the customers.

Barnes and Noble Shameful Hispanic Section

Barnes and Noble Hispanic Section (1)

Tampa, (Fl) --- As a Hispanic man in Florida, and a man who can speak and read in 3 languages but my main being Spanish and being in Florida I can expect more from the local bookstore.

A couple of weeks ago I went to find a few books about Latin American Literature and my surprise I found more about books For Dummies, Paulo Coehlo (which is not Hispanic) and a lot, and I mean a lot, almost two rows filled with novelizations about teen movies from the United States such as the novelization of Twilight as well Catching Fire; but, I didn't found any pertinent book from the Latin American Literary Culture beyond one Chronicle of a Foretold Death by Garcia Marquez which I found in between Pregnancy for Dummies (Embarazo para Dummies) and How to Keep and Awesome Body at Any Age (Cuerpazo a Cualquier Edad).

Shame on you Barnes and Nobles, that in the area where I am as well in Tampa, which there is a big Hispanic population there are no decent books to read in Spanish. 

I asked the clerks, twice on two different weeks and they sent me to the same sections on the books I was looking, only to not find anything because the more educated sections are just composed by trash; yet, is a shame that good books are found in the Nook and not in the physical aspect.

I don't want to go to the public school library which is another, actually both public schools have as book stores Barnes and Noble; but, the prices of the books are ridiculously high. Is a shame that at least in Tampa there are no other bookstores beside the Barnes and Noble, the Books A Million are too far away and is sad that Borders closed many years ago because their selection was more varied.

I don't want to have an awesome body at age 40, or learn about pregnancy or anything about teen movies that were based on books and got books. I want to see a bookstore with more books than coffee, movies and calendar. Shame on you Barnes & Noble.

Fuck the Tea Party and GOP

Tampa, (Fl) --- As simple as you read, fuck how selfish these groups of people can be. Is just amazing to see how the fucking selfish some people can be. Yes I am not even going to go on a xenophobic argument towards on why the African American President is incompetent, my grinding of gears goes on how much people are oblivious on how the government works and how much power the house has. Is amazing how a few angry white men just fucked up everything.

The GOP is dying and slowly turning into the Tea Party, the next big "so called conservative generation" where there are no traces of what the Republicans were. Probably a professor of mine was right, the populist wave that started with Hugo Chavez found its way to the United States and is slowly going into the people's imaginariums because they can feel a relation to the grassroots ideals of the Tea Party.

As it happened in South America as well Central America with the raise of populism, charisma had played a factor towards how the leader of the caucus had aimed to get more followers or in another case scenario make the politicians look as glamorous but with the same shitty personalities of the characters of Dynasty or the Ronald Reagan Era; and, then you can win the audience and possible voters through a media circus that everyone will enjoy.

The selfish act of a few angry white men who are representing the constituent, shows how much politicians are there for the business, so many solutions such as a dialogue table to find a middle point on all the crisis the country is going through and yet this motherfuckers opted to shut down the government, screwing thousands of people who work for them and aren't going to get pay as them, but yet they won't care as they will get pay anyway because they are just fucking politicians.   

Let's Talk This Clear

Equality 

OK, you and me let's talk this clear, hate is such a strong word, that first thing; second, the world is more complex than what you see in church or the four streets of your neighborhood; and third people are not exactly like you, they are equal and if they were exactly like you then the world would be a boring place where there are no differences. We are humans and by default we should be equal, because we are equal and those little differences are what they make us humans; but then when fear and intolerance comes because someone who is different appear in your life and you realize the world is not as exactly as your parents told you then you will be starting acting like a bigot if you don't surpass the idea that we are different, or maybe you can realize it and see how wonderful and complex humanity is.

Let's talk this clear, you are not going to be less macho, break the stereotype first for reading poetry; you are not going to be less of a man if you can with your woman to a shopping trip; you are not going to be less of a man if you enjoy arts and ballet, you will be less of a man if you promote hate toward people because they are different. Let's talk this clear, you are not going to be less Christian if you live your life beyond the principles of your religion, you are going to be just a mere fanboy if you decide to use the Good Book to incite hate and wars, you are going to be who you profess if you see the message of the Bible as simple and clear, a message of love, brotherhood and equality, but yet if you decide to use the good word to spread hate, you have to be aware that the world will be behind you, because you are just a player hater.

Why to hate?. Are you scared to face world?. Maybe you are just immature, as simple as that. Are you scared of yourself? And maybe because you are scared of yourself you don't want other people to be happy?. Let's be real, no matter what, there is only one chance to live , and you are not going to be less if you decide to live true to yourself, you are going to be less if you are going to spend hating humanity because they don't think like you.
