"I want Frozen Mashed Potatoes" and the Syrian War

Tampa, (Fl) --- It is not that strange to say that we are an amalgam of generation of spoiled people. Everytime you have the chance to go outside and sit in the bus, the bus itself or just go for a trip to the supermarket listen to other people conversations and you will realize, we are just a bunch of son a bitches with no opinions beyond the ones the media manufacturer for us.

On a trip to the supermarket a couple of weeks ago I was walking towards the frozen meat section (no interest on getting anything) when I saw a man, who looked to be in his middle 40's and assuming by his attire he could be on his day off. He asked in a really awful tone to a clerk to find him frozen mash potatoes, the clerk without any hesitation went to find the proper help and another one appeared he asked him if he was the person in question,  he said no; and he made a small tantrum to the clerk much as if he was a 10 year old kid. Another clerk by accident that worked in the meat department section helped the guy but not without listening to the stupidity the man said and probably got the thing for free.

Stupid, white, fat Americans - are the words that keep coming to my head after five years, after a popular slogan within the leftist movements in Colombia was used to describe the American society as whole. I probably can't see that phrase as a generality anymore because due the amalgam of people that live in North America the best way to describe it would be - Spoiled People who Have no Clue on What's Happening on the World Beyond their Own Thumbs - and, there is a truth on that one because people here are spoiled in their vast majority and thanks to the system they think the world is theirs.

The mashed potato guy is just an example on how many people don't have any manners or education towards other people reality and they follow blindly what happens on the news without any critique of judgment toward the politicians interests. The catalyst of this war is beyond 9/11 it predates almost on the Cold War political interests where the nation is hunting the resources of other nations in order to ensure the survival of the "home" economy that doesn't work and that the people are consuming the national resources at a fast pace.

The potatoes are just a macro example how the society has reached to the point where they want things now and without thinking of any consequence what other relations with other people or nations will be; but, I guess we are just that a bunch of spoiled Americans.

Duval County - Fl; A Decisive County For Obama to Win in Florida

Jacksonville - Fl

Tampa, Fl -- Is quite difficult to think about Duval County about one of the places that there is an enthusiasm for the Democratic party because historically this place has been Republican oriented albeit not necessarily strict as Hillsborough but yet Duval is extremely unpredictable with the voters trends because even if the orientation goes on the GOP doesn't mean they Grand Old Party will have a secure victory on Florida is they win voters on County Area.

There is a lot of contradiction in the area, if you drive to any part of the county you will find every stereotype imaginable, much as a starburst, from redneck Democrats, to amazing views and bridges as Chicago, inner city minnorities who will complain about crime, hipster Republicans drinking coffee at Starbucks and whatever you can imagine - yet it is one of the most misunderstood and under studied counties in Florida regarding political trends as well city management -. If we look the last two Republican mayors raised taxes and fees significantly, while the new Democratic mayor Alvin Brown has Tea Party activist hailing his fiscal conservationism, historically this county that Republican candidates win by 15% points can be nailed by a Democratic candidate much as the south part of the State.

On 2004, George W. defeated Kerry in Duval by a 62.000 votes margin, while previous candidate John McCain who is a former resident of Jacksonville barely went through the 10.000 votes, but do Obama has what it needs to conquer a predominantly red county?. Who knows?. From one side when he won on 2008 there was an enthusiasm because he was the first African American who conquered the hearts of people and motivated them to go out and vote, yet the other side of the problem rallies on the conformism of the people to not think beyond their bubble and complain for minimal details not even thinking that all the problems we have now are from the previous administration which was a Republican cabinet that lasted for almost a decade.

The problem is not in Duval, but rather how close he can keep it because if the campaign can't keep closer than seven or eight percentage points from the Republican campaign it will become hard to make up for those votes around the State. One of the elemental keys are the votes of the African-Americans because it compose a body of 530.000 voters who develop a decisive point in the electoral race as well a key in the victory of Obama.    

¿Acaso soy Un Criminal por ser Blogger?

Esta es la primera vez que escribiré directamente, que terrible que un idiota como Germán Vargas Lleras se saliera con la suya. ¿Acaso soy un criminal por escribir en la red? ¿Acaso soy un criminal aunque copie fotos como material les de crédito?. Que injusticia tan grande que un ladron como Lleras se saliera con la suya.

No puedo creer que ahora el Gran Hermano del Estado decida vigilar cualquier cosa en la red, y como la justicia en Colombia es tan endeble, puedo apostar a que el Estado se hará su quincena a diario poniendo infracciones, o como dicen ahora porque la palabra infracción es prohibida partes, esa palabra no se puede aplicar a esa manera, entonces todos los Colombianos seremos culpables de semejante injusticia.

Que día tan malo para los cibernautas, pero puedo decir algo, no soy un criminal, me vale mierda semejante ley, y que el Ministro se prepare porque la gente lo va a devorar vivo.

Hacia una Nueva Vieja Revolucion

A veces me pregunto si la vida es cíclica?, pero luego me pregunto si el principio de la entropía y caos puede ser totalmente cierto, pero luego me pregunto, porque los atropellos siguen sucediendo?, luego me respondo por la concentración del poder en las manos de unos pocos y la capacidad de estos pocos para manipular la ignorancia de las masas. Ese es el problema con ciertos aspectos de nuestra sociedad, donde la sociedad de por si esta narcotizada con una tanda de novelas y futbol. Hablando con una conocida mía, ella generalizo que a todas las mujeres les gustan las novelas, yo le dije es como si yo dijera que a todos los hombres les gusta el deporte; me hubiera encantado llevar la conversación a un extremo pero luego me puse a pensar, es tan extraño que un país que tiene tanto potencial, todo esté controlado a través de especiales de televisión que no tienen calidad, como los noticieros que fueron recortados para darle cabildo a las secciones burdas de entretenimiento y principalmente, el principal causante son la falta de educación y bebidas alcohólicas puestas a un bajo precio para mantener a la gente idiotizadas.

Ese es el problema, la capacidad de controlar a un territorio, pero cuando estos pocos están viendo que muchos se están alzando y no en armas, ahí les entra el temor porque los que se están alzando, estamos buscando un cambio, no a través de las armas pero a través del conocimiento, pero no es una lucha perdida, es una lucha que tomara tiempo porque no es imposible cambiar el statu-quo, solo que es difícil abrirle los ojos a la gente. Esta revolución no es nueva; es una vieja, nueva revolución que si fuera como la Francesa, rodarían cabezas de los mandatarios; pero para que rodar cabezas? Cuando el internet tiene todo para destrozarlos, ya que no hay nada peor para un político o un empresario corrupto que exponer su ignorancia al mundo.

No es fácil olvidar, jamás se olvida, y ese el principal punto, el pueblo ha olvidado quienes son, ha olvidado las raíces de Colombia todo a cambio del alcohol y las promesas baratas del deporte; el pueblo es una legión que no debe olvidar los pecados cometidos por unos pocos contra la población, jamás perdonar, porque al momento que se perdona a los que han atentando contra la sociedad y contra la humanidad ese el momento en que todo se puede olvidar.
